Attendance zone
Zones are set by Gwinnett County Public Schools and do not follow city limits. Check any address with Find My School, or see the district’s Duluth Cluster map (PDF). In the analysis behind our neighborhoods guide, which matched Gwinnett County’s address points inside Duluth to the district’s 2026 zone map, about 90% of addresses in the city are zoned for Duluth High: downtown, the core neighborhoods, Rogers Bridge Road, the Chattahoochee River side, Howell Ferry Road, Pleasant Hill Road, North Berkeley, South Buford Highway and part of Sugarloaf. The rest, on the east side, is zoned for Peachtree Ridge High.
Students come up through Duluth Middle, fed by Berkeley Lake, Chesney and Harris elementary schools, or through Coleman Middle, fed by Chattahoochee Elementary, according to the district’s 2026 zone map data and its Duluth Cluster page.
We found no rezoning approved by the Board of Education that changes this zone. Gwinnett County Public Schools paused its multi-year redistricting plan effective Sept. 23, 2026, said it will not redraw attendance boundaries for the 2027-28 school year, and plans community conversations in the second semester; our schools guide has the details.
The school’s academics pages list Advanced Placement courses, a ninth grade academy and career pathways in audio visual technology and film, computer science, engineering, marketing and healthcare science, plus a Navy Junior ROTC program.
