Mayor and City Council
Duluth has a mayor and five council members. Each council member holds a numbered post but is elected citywide, in nonpartisan elections, to a four-year term. The council meets on the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers and holds work sessions on the fourth Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
