Valentine’s Day 2027 is Sunday, Feb. 14, and it lands in the middle of a five-day school break: Gwinnett County Public Schools is out Friday, Feb. 12, through Tuesday, Feb. 16, on the district’s 2026-27 calendar. The 2027 dates below are not out yet, so we show what happened in 2026 and say so. Each item is marked with its year.

The city’s Valentine’s Day Pop-Up
On Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, the city held a free Valentine’s Day Pop-Up in Parsons Alley, 3530 W. Lawrenceville St., according to its event page:

Comedy and music
- Funny First Fridays at Eddie Owen Presents at the Red Clay Music Foundry, 3116 Main St.: the city sponsored a stand-up night on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, with doors at 7 p.m. and the show at 8 p.m., according to its event page. At the railway museum
The Southeastern Railway Museum, 3595 Buford Hwy., held its Presidents Day weekend on Feb. 14-15, 2026, with guided tours of the presidential Pullman cars Superb and Marco Polo, “the Roosevelts” posing for photos and talks on railroads in wartime, according to its event page. “Naturally you and your Valentine have run of the grounds,” the museum said. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.

- Noona Meat and Seafood, 3550 W. Lawrenceville St., Suite 310, 678-404-5001: New American food built around an open kitchen with a 9-foot wood-burning hearth, steaks cut in house and a cocktail and wine bar. The restaurant calls itself “the perfect place for a date” on its website, which takes reservations.

Downtown has more than 1,400 free public spaces, including the deck under the Courtyard Marriott (no overnight parking 2 to 5 a.m.), according to the Downtown Duluth parking map. Noona’s website suggests the Parsons Alley lot first.
